Freegal Music

Due to budget restraints, access to Freegal ends on Jan. 17, 2017.

  • Login to the Freegal Music site with your Timberland library card and pin (Freegal rhymes with legal).
  • Then search hundreds of thousands of songs, over 100 music genres, and more than 50 record labels in the the Sony Music Entertainment catalog.
  • You can download 5 songs per week. The counter resets at 9 p.m. each Sunday.
  • It's easy to use. No software to install. No need to checkout songs. You can download and keep them.  
  • The MP3 files are compatible with any MP3 Player or device. You can transfer the music to any computer, MP3 player or even burn it to a CD. Copyright laws apply for all music downloaded.

SELF-e - Self-published authors get e-Books into libraries

  • SELF-e provides local, self-published authors a way to submit their ebooks for circulation at Timberland Regional Library, other Washington libraries and possibly libraries nationwide.
  • With an ebook discovery service authors can reach a wider audience and build buzz about their books.
  • Distribution via the SELF-e platform is royalty-free and the license signed is non-exclusive.
  • Submit your ebook through the TRL SELF-e Submission page.
