About the Library:
The Tumwater Library began in 1965 in a storefront library in the Southgate Shopping Center. A new library, constructed adjacent to Tumwater City Hall, opened in March 1995. | | Truth Like the Sun: A Visit with Jim Lynch | | Tumwater Timberland Library | Thu., May. 24 | 7:00 PM | | Award winning author and journalist, Jim Lynch ("The Highest Tide" & "Border Songs") will talk about his new novel "Truth Like the Sun". This cat-and-mouse story of political intrigue revolves around a dynamic mayoral candidate, famous for having masterminded the 1962 Seattle World'S Fair, and an ambitious investigative reporter determined to discover the secrets behind his rise to power.
