About the Library:

The Timberland South Mason Library opened near Shelton in 1974 in leased quarters.  In May 1989, the City of Shelton joined Timberland and the two libraries (South Mason and Shelton) were combined. The residents of Shelton voted to annex to Timberland for library services in 2009.

An Education Job Information Center is located at the Shelton library.

Friends of the Library Meeting

The Friends of the Shelton Timberland Library will meet on Monday, June 1 from 1-3 p.m. This meeting is in place of the fourth Monday of May due to the Memorial Day holiday. This is an active group of community volunteers who care deeply about their library. They have many volunteer opportunities for community members. If you are interested in being a "friend," come and join us!
