The College Board administers standardized tests such as the SAT, Accuplacer, and Advanced Placement exams. This website provides information about preparing for these exams, as well as career exploration and general information about financial aid and applying to schools.

Provided by the National Center for Education Statistics, the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the U.S., this website compiles detailed information about programs offered, retention and graduation rates, prices, available aid, degrees awarded, campus safety, and accreditation for over 7,000 postsecondary institutions in the United States.

College Scorecard
This U. S. Department of Education website provides students, families, and their advisers with a graphically-pleasing breakdown of college costs and values, and includes the most reliable national data on the earnings of former college graduates as well as new data on student debt. You can search by location, region, area of study, size, and more.

Washington State Community and Technical Colleges
This State Board is responsible for administering the Community and Technical College Act and providing leadership and coordination for the community and technical college system.  This website has links to the programs at specific colleges, directions to the colleges, employment at the colleges, how to pay for college, and much more.

Annenberg Learner
This offshoot of the Annenberg Foundation offers free streaming courses on a comprehensive variety of subjects. Great for students, teachers, or adult learners who want to brush up on topics they may have missed in high school.

GED Testing Service

Sound Learning (formerly Mason County Literacy)
Sound Learning is a nonprofit organization providing basic skills tutoring (reading, writing, math), GED preparation, and ESL & computer literacy instruction in Thurston and Mason counties.

Home-Based Instruction Regulations (WA State)
