TRL Mobile Apps

There are several apps and sites to help you tap the resources of the library through your smartphone or mobile device.

Washington State Library Now mobile app


Washington State Library Now - New TRL mobile app for Apple, Android and Windows Phone devices!  Search TRL's library catalog, check your account, place holds, view events, locations/hours. This app provides mobile access to public libraries statewide.  It was developed as a project of the Washington State Library, funded by the Paul Allen Family Foundation. Download and open the app; you will be prompted to choose a library system based on your location or you can search for Timberland. Next time it will remember your choice and connect you to TRL.

OverDrive Mobile


OverDrive Media Console - A smartphone app that allows you to connect to the audiobooks and e-book downloads offered through OverDrive.

BookMyne Mobile Catalog for iPhones, iPods and iPads and for Android devices. Get mobile access to TRL's catalog. You can check due dates, place a hold, renew a book - almost anything you can do online, you can do on your device. You can even get alerts when books are due or holds become available. If you see a book you like at a friend's house or a bookstore, scan the barcode and see if the library has it.

Mango Languages Mobile


Mango Languages Mobile for Android devices and for iPhones, iPods and iPads. You must first sign up for a Mango account via the Library's Mango page to get access.

Proquest Mobile


Proquest Mobile (Beta) - Access ProQuest research databases on the mobile web.

Reference USA


ReferenceUSA for iPad - This app works on iPads. It does not work on other mobile Apple devices.
