Unmask - 2015 Summer at the Library

2015 Summer at the Library for Teens

2015 Comic Strip Contest

How the Comic Strip Contest Works

Do you you like to draw, cartoon, or create comic strips? The Comic Strip Contest is open to teens in grades six through twelve. It is part of Summer at the Library, a Timberland Regional Library districtwide program. Comic Strip Contest entries will be accepted from June 10, 2015 through August 31, 2015. No entries will be accepted after 12:59 p.m. on August 31, 2015.

  • Comic Strip Guidelines
The Comic Strip Guidelines cover details such as drawing and inking your comic strip, how to submit it and prize categories.
  • Comic Strip Template
Print the template (or pick one up at the library) then draw your 5-panel comic strip.  Drawings and text may be penciled first, but must be drawn over in ink.  You may submit up to 5 comic strip entries.
  • Comic Strip Entry Form
Print the form (or pick one up at the library) then enter your name, grade you'll enter in Fall 2015, your Comic Strip title, and contact information. The form includes a Creative Works Release Form to give the library permission to reproduce your comic strip online, on social media and in print.
