The Microsoft Imagine Academy online learning site is no longer offered through Timberland Regional Library.

The Microsoft Imagine Academy platform was retired on September 30, 2018. As previousy announced in July 2018, students will no longer have access to courses hosted on the platform, nor be able to download transcripts of previously completed work.  Microsoft Imagine Academy had been offerd through a collaboration between Washington libraries, Microsoft, the Washington State Library, the Office of Secretary of State and the Washington State Legislature.

The Washington State Library worked with Microsoft to continue to provide access to some Microsoft Imagine Academy online learning resources, free of charge for all Washington residents and employees.

  • Materials are available covering four content areas: Microsoft Office applications, computer science, data science, and IT infrastructure.
  • The downloadable learning materials are available in two formats: a single OneNote file containing learning resources covering all four content areas, or separate Excel files, each covering one of the available content areas (listed above).
  • Please save the learning content to your personal local or cloud storage to be able to directly go back to your learning when desired. Materials saved to local device storage can be used offline. If needed, a free download of the Microsoft OneNote application is available.
  • To access these Microsoft Imagine Academy online learning resources visit https://www.sos.wa.gov/library/libraries/projects/ita/info.aspx, and complete the form (it will only ask for your zip code and if you are a State Employee).

For additional learning opportunities for Microsoft Office and IT related topics, Timberland Regional Library offers free access to Lynda.com and Universal Class.
